Purpose
This CDS view retrieves service demand data that is specific to project demands for service. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What is the material group and material number? What is the purchasing document number? Who is the desired supplier for particular services? What would be the planned delivery time? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. For more information, see Supported Capabilities for CDS Views . If you need to create an incident regarding this CDS view, use component PPM-SCL-DMN .
Prerequisites
Authorizations One of the following business catalogs needs to be assigned to a user to be able to use this CDS view: Enterprise Project – Project Demand ( SAP_PS_BC_PROJ_DEMAND_MC ) Development – API Test – Project Demand ( SAP_A4C_BC_DEV_TST_PPM_DM0_PC ) This business catalog is assigned to the Developer ( SAP_BR_DEVELOPER ) business role template. Both business catalogs can be used to grant read and write access to project demand data. However, only read access is needed to use the CDS view. Users who want to use this CDS view must have a role that includes authorization based on at least one of the business catalogs listed above. In this role, the following restriction types must be set to read access:
