Purpose
This CDS view is designed to provide detailed information about workcenter capacity shifts by combining data from workcenter capcity intervals and shifts. It serves as a composite view that integrates various attributes related to workcenter capacity, shift definitions, and operational durations, enabling comprehensive analysis and reporting. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What are the details of capacity shifts for specific workcenters, including start and end times, shift definitions, and validity periods? How is the capacity allocated across different categories and workcenter types? What is the utilization percentage of planned capacity for each shift? What are the operating durations and break durations associated with each capacity shift? How can we track changes in capacity data over time, including the last change date and time? How do workday rules and weekday associations impact the scheduling and operation of workcenter shifts? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view.
