Purpose
This CDS view retrieves information about additional substitute materials in the condition records for material determination. Note A condition record may contain multiple substitute materials. During material determination, the system accesses additional substitute materials if the first substitute material in the condition record is not available. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What are the additional substitute materials that the system can use for material determination? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. For more information, see Supported Capabilities for CDS Views .

Prerequisites
Authorizations Users who want to use this CDS view must have a role with the following business catalog: SAP_SD_BC_MD_MANAGE_MC ( Sales - Master Data ) In addition, to retrieve condition records that contain sales area-related fields (sales organization, distribution channel, or division), users must be granted read access to relevant organizational units. Example In your system, some condition records contain sales area 1010/10/00 and others contain sales area 1710/10/00. Users whose read access is restricted to sales area 1010/10/00 can only retrieve the conditions records containing sales area 1010/10/00 (not those containing sales area 1710/10/00). Users whose read access is restricted to sales organization 1000 cannot retrieve these condition records at all. This field represents a substitute material other than the first one in the condition record. You can retrieve information about the first substitute material using the CDS view Material Determination Condition Record . SlsMatlDetnSubstitMaterialUoM UoM of the additional substitute material
