Purpose
This CDS view provides information about shipping points associated with each plant. You can use this view to analyze and manage shipping logistics by understanding each plant's proposed and alternative shipping points. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business question: What are the proposed and alternative shipping points for each plant? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. For more information, see Supported Capabilities for CDS Views .

Important Fields Important fields in this view include the following: Field Name Description LoadingGroup A grouping of materials that share the same loading requirements ShippingCondition General shipping strategy for the delivery of goods from the supplier to the customer Plant Plant ProposedShippingPoint Shipping Point proposed for plant, shipping condition, and loading group AlternativeShippingPoint1 to AlternativeShippingPoint11 Specifies a shipping point that you can enter during document processing as an alternative to the shipping point automatically proposed by the system There are eleven alternative shipping point fields available.
