Purpose
This CDS view retrieves general ledger (G/L) accounts and functional areas that have semantic tags assigned in a certain G/L account hierarchy or financial statement version (FSV). This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: Which G/L accounts and functional areas are assigned with semantic tags? What are the semantic tags? Which G/L account hierarchy or FSV do these G/L accounts and functional areas belong to? What is the chart of accounts of the G/L account hierarchy or FSV? What is the validity timeframe of the G/L account hierarchy or FSV? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. For more information, see Supported Capabilities for CDS Views .

Prerequisites
Authorizations Users who want to use this CDS view must be assigned with a business catalog that contains the following restriction type: HRYTYPE_HRYID_GL ( Hierarchy Type/ID for General Ledger Accounting ) The restriction type is edited in the Maintain Business Roles app.

Structure
Fields Used for Filtering The main filters are as follows: GLAccountHierarchy ( G/L Account Hierarchy or FSV ID ) used to select the relevant G/L account hierarchy or FSV. GLAccount ( G/L Account ) or FunctionalArea ( Functional Area ) used to select the relevant G/L accounts or functional areas.
