Purpose
This CDS view provides the prerequisites for answering the following business questions: Which production versions exist for a specific plant material? Which production versions are assigned to a bill of operations? Which production versions are assigned to a bill of material? Which production version (and thus bill of operations and bill of material) can be used to produce a specific amount of material at a certain date? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view.
