Purpose
This CDS view retrieves the project role types defined for enterprise projects and professional services projects . This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business question: Which role types of a certain project role category are available? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. For more information, see Supported Capabilities for CDS Views .

Prerequisites
Authorizations This CDS view requires privileged access. Configuration Project role types for professional services projects are retrieved from key user configuration in the Manage Your Solution app. For more information, see configuration step Define Role Types in solution area Professional Services .

Structure
Fields used for filtering All fields of this CDS view can be used for filtering. The main filters are as follows: ProjectRoleCategory used to specify the role category to which a project role type belongs. For information about supported values, see Role Category for Enterprise Projects . Further important fields Important fields in this view include the following: Field Name Description ProjectRoleType Project role type PartnerFunction Partner function from Sales that is assigned to the role type (only relevant for professional services projects)

Constraints
This CDS view can only be used to retrieve project role types for enterprise projects with the project category 6 ( Enterprise project ) or 7 ( Enterprise project – Professional Services ) in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition . It is not intended for use in SAP S/4HANA .
