Purpose
This CDS view provides a structured representation of warehouse wave types. It serves as a basic dimension view that can be used for analytical purposes, allowing you to understand and categorize different wave types associated with specific warehouses. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What are the different wave types available in a specific warehouse? How can wave types be categorized or associated with specific warehouses for better inventory and logistics management? What textual descriptions or additional information are available for each wave type in the warehouse? How can wave types be integrated into analytical models for improved decision-making in warehouse operations? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. For more information, see Supported Capabilities for CDS Views .
