It provides a structured view of division nodes, their parent-child relationships, and associated metadata such as validity dates and node types.</p> <p>This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions:</p> <ul> <li><p>What is the hierarchical structure of divisions within the organization?</p></li> <li><p>How are division nodes related in terms of parent-child relationships?</p></li> <li><p>What are the validity periods for each division hierarchy node?</p></li> <li><p>What is the sequence and level of each node within the division hierarchy?</p></li> <li><p>What are the specific attributes and values associated with each hierarchy node?</p></li> <li><p>How can division hierarchy data be extracted for analytical purposes?</p></li> </ul> <p>To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view.
