Purpose
This CDS view provides access to the nodes of the hierarchy of the consolidation document type. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What hierarchies of document types exist and in which interval of the fiscal year and period are they defined? Which document types are contained in a hierarchy? What are the nodes and their descriptions of one hierarchy? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. For more information, see Supported Capabilities for CDS Views .

Structure
Fields Used for Filtering The main filters are as follows: ConsolidationDocTypeHierarchy : used to determine the hierarchy. ValidityEndDate : used to determine the time interval of its validity. HierarchyNode : used to determine a specific node of the hierarchy. Further Important Fields Important fields in this view include the following: Field Name Description ConsolidationDocType A consolidation document type at a leaf of the hierarchy. NodeType The type of node, which can be a root, a node, or a leaf.
