Purpose
This CDS view provides access to the hierarchy of the consolidation division. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What hierarchies of division exist and in which interval of the fiscal year and period are they defined? Which divisions are contained in a hierarchy? What are the nodes of a hierarchy and what their descriptions? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. For more information, see Supported Capabilities for CDS Views .

Authorizations One of the following business catalogs must be assigned to a user to be able to use these CDS views: SAP_FIN_BC_CCON_MDORG_PC SAP_A4C_BC_DEV_TST_FI_CCON_PC You can use the Display Restriction Types app to find out in which business catalogs these restriction types are included. Configuration The division represents an additional characteristic. It is required to activate the Enable Hierarchies setting in the Define Consolidation Master Data Fields configuration step.
