Purpose
This CDS view provides access to the hierarchy of the consolidation cost center. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What hierarchies for cost center exist and in which interval of fiscal year and period are they defined? Which cost centers are contained in a hierarchy? What are the nodes of a hierarchy and their descriptions? What are the hierarchies of a superordinate controlling area? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. For more information, see Supported Capabilities for CDS Views .

Fields Used for Filtering The main filters for all these views are as follows: ConsolidationCostCenterHierarchy : This field is used to determine the hierarchy. ControllingArea : This field is used to determine a subset of hierarchies in one controlling area. ValidityEndDate : This field is used to determine the time interval of its validity. The related views I_CnsldtnCostCenterHierNode and I_CnsldtnCostCenterHierNodeT have the following additional main filter: HierarchyNode : This field is used to determine a specific node of the hierarchy.
