Purpose
This CDS view is designed to provide language-dependent text descriptions for subledger account line item types. It serves as a master data source for retrieving the names of these line item types in different languages, facilitating multilingual support in financial reporting and analysis. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What are the descriptions of subledger account line item types in various languages? How can I retrieve the name of a specific subledger account line item type in the user's preferred language? Which subledger account line item types are available for reporting and analysis in a multilingual environment? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view.
