Purpose
This CDS view is designed to provide a comprehensive representation of real estate rentable objects within a system. It aggregates various attributes and associations related to rentable objects, enabling detailed analysis and reporting on these entities. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What are the unique identifiers and key attributes of each real estate rentable object? How are rentable objects associated with usable objects and contracts? What are the measurements and usage categories associated with each rentable object? What is the status and architectural usage of each rentable object? How can the validity period and company code information of rentable objects be tracked? What are the creation and last change timestamps for each rentable object? How can the authorization group and parent object relationships be managed for rentable objects? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view.
