Purpose
This CDS view provides the information about list of fields with allowed Maintenance Statu s and to which field group it belongs to and whether field data can be proposed from the Reference Product , and whether copying is allowed in case of retail scenario. To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. Prerequisites
Authorizations One of the following business catalogs needs to be assigned to a user to be able to use this CDS view: SAP_CMD_BC_PR_MAINT_PC: Master Data - Product Master Users who want to use this CDS view must have a role that includes authorization based on at least one of the business catalogs listed above. In this role, the following restriction types must be set to read access: <Name of restriction type> <Name of restriction type> <Name of restriction type> ... These restriction types are edited in the Maintain Business Roles app. Users who want to use this CDS view must have the following authorization objects assigned: <technical name of authorization objects> (<human-readable name>) ... ...
