Purpose
This CDS view is designed to represent the hierarchy of distribution channels within an organization. It provides a structured view of distribution channels, including their validity periods, last modification details, and associated textual descriptions. The view is essential for analytical purposes, allowing users to understand and analyze the distribution channel structures and their changes over time. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What are the different distribution channels available within the organization, and how are they hierarchically structured? What are the validity periods for each distribution channel hierarchy, and when do they start and end? Who was the last user to modify the distribution channel hierarchy, and when was the last change made? What are the textual descriptions associated with each distribution channel hierarchy, and how can they be accessed for further insights?
