Purpose
This CDS view is designed to provide a structured representation of case statuses within a dispute case management system. It extracts and organizes data related to the status of cases, allowing for efficient data handling and analysis. The view serves as a dimension in analytical scenarios, enabling users to associate case statuses with descriptive text for better understanding and reporting. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What are the different statuses available for cases in the dispute case management system? How can case statuses be associated with descriptive text for reporting purposes? What is the current status of a specific case within the system? How can case status data be extracted for analytical purposes? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab.
