Purpose
This CDS view is designed to provide a value help for business places within a company. It allows users to search and retrieve information about business places based on their company code and description. The view ensures that only active business places, determined by their start and end dates, are included in the results. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What are the active business places within a specific company code? How can I find a business place based on its description? Which business places are currently valid and operational as of today's date? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. Prerequisites
Authorizations Users who want to use this CDS view must have a role with the following restriction types set to read access: BUKRS_BUPLA (Company Code/Business Place) You can use the Display Restriction Types app to find out in which business catalogs these restriction types are included.
