Purpose
This CDS view belongs to Service Contracts Dashboard app and can be used both as an embedded and standalone edition. This CDS view is used to define the service contract KPIs such as net value/number of service contract items, expiring service contract items (in next 6 months) and expired/canceled service contract items (in last 6 months). The Upcoming Service Contract Item - Cube ( I_UpcgSrvcContrItemCube ) view is used to consume the KPIs defined in this query view. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What is the total net value of the service contracts for a particular time period (month, quarter and year) in the system? How many service contract items are active for a particular time period in the system? How many service contract items will be expiring in next 6 months? What is the total value of these expiring contract items? Who are my top performing customers in terms of service contract value and their top selling products?
