Purpose
With this CDS view, you can select the language-dependent texts of production resources/tools (PRT) categories. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What are the names of production resources/tools categories in different languages? In contrast to CDS view I_ProdnRsceToolCategoryText , this CDS view does not contain the conversion exit FHMAR in the key field. To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view.
