Purpose
This CDS view provides details of parent categories of a legal transaction. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What are the parent categories of a legal transaction? Is a parent category required for a legal transaction? What is the index position of the parent category in a category group?

Prerequisites
You can create reports for Manage Legal Transaction application using this CDS view. Users who want to run these reports must have a role based on the SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR_LCM , SAP_BR_LEGAL_COUNSEL , and SAP_BR_EMPLOYEE_LEGAL_CONTENT business role templates. In this role, the user must have authorization to the following: Certain Profiles Access Level Organisation Company code Sales Organisation Purchase Organisation

Structure
Fields Important fields in this view include the following: LglCntntMParentCategory used to display parent category ID LglCntntMIsMandatory used to display if the parent category is required for a legal transaction.
