Purpose
In Asset Accounting, you use usage objects if you use the units-of-production method of depreciation. This CDS view retrieves the records of fixed asset usage objects. The CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What are my fixed asset usage objects? What is the lifecycle status of my fixed asset usage objects? Note If you want to check which assets are assigned to a usage object (in other words, if you want to find out about the link between assets and usage objects), you can use the CDS view I_AssetValuationForLedger ( Fixed Asset Valuation (Ledger-Dependent Data) ). To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. For more information, see Supported Capabilities for CDS Views .

Fields Used for Filtering The main filters are as follows: CompanyCode : This filter is used to identify fixed asset usage objects within a specific company code. FixedAssetUsageObjLfcycSts : This filter is used to identify fixed asset usage objects with a specific lifecycle status.
