Purpose
These CDS views provide access to the hierarchy of the consolidation segment. These CDS views provide the data to answer the following business questions: What hierarchies of segment exist and in which interval of the fiscal year and period are they defined? Which segments are contained in a hierarchy? What are the nodes of a hierarchy and what their descriptions? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view. To find out what use cases are best supported by this CDS view, access the entry of the CDS view in the View Browser app and find the values for this annotation under the Annotation tab. For more information, see Supported Capabilities for CDS Views .

Authorizations Users who want to use these CDS views must have the following authorization objects assigned: F_UNI_HIER Configuration HRYTYPE = CS01

Structure
Fields Used for Filtering The main filters are as follows: ConsolidationSegmentHierarchy : This field is used to determine the hierarchy. ValidityEndDate : This field is used to determine the time interval of its validity. The hierarchy node views I_CnsldtnSegmentHierNode and I_CnsldtnSegmentHierNodeT have the following additional main filter: HierarchyNode : This field is used to determine a specific node of the hierarchy. Further Important Fields Important fields in these views include the following: Field Name Description Segment A consolidation segment at a leaf of the hierarchy. The hierarchy node views I_CnsldtnSegmentHierNode and I_CnsldtnSegmentHierNodeT include the following additional important fields: Field Name Description NodeType The type of a node, which can be a root, a node, or a leaf.
