Purpose
This CDS view determines consolidation currency translation methods used in consolidation tasks. A consolidation currency translation method is a technique that determines how currency amounts of the reported data of a consolidation unit are translated to one or many group currencies. A currency translation method is a consolidation method identified by the task category 05 (currency translation). Examples are standard translation year to day, standard translation periodic, and S4 accounting group currency. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: What consolidation currency translation methods are available? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view.
