Purpose
This CDS view provides access to business partner data controller information, including the assignment of data controllers and purposes for data processing in the context of data privacy management. It enables users to track and manage which data controllers are responsible for processing business partner data and for what purposes, including whether these assignments are derived or explicitly maintained. This CDS view provides the data to answer the following business questions: Which data controller is assigned to a specific business partner? What purposes have been defined for processing business partner data? Which data controller and purpose assignments have been derived automatically versus manually maintained? What data controllers assigned to a business partner are invalidated? How many business partners are associated with each data controller? Which business partners have incomplete or pending data controller assignments? To help you decide which CDS view to use for your purposes, SAP has introduced the annotation ObjectModel.supportedCapabilities that indicates the most appropriate use cases for each CDS view.
